Danger Dave is a certifiable renaissance man. He usually dresses in bright colors from his own “Cool Shit” fashion line and he complements those with interstellar glasses that allow him to see the world in a different perspective.

His art is like his vision—BIG. Really big. Giant inflatable balloons of big celebrities ranging from The Rock to Lionel Richie. Some say he blow

Living the way of the nomad. Year6.

The last time I had a proper house with walls, roof, a bathroom and a kitchen was in the year 2015. I was in New York City working the business executive life. From that point on, I took a dive into a the vastness of the unknown and settled in a variety of minimalist nomadic houses that have included an off grid yurt, several tiny houses, and my camper. I have lived in farms, campsites, eco-villages, people's gardens and nature parks from the west coast to the east.

Road Hugger

Roads don’t get the credit they deserve. The grid they form maps our towns and cities and show the shape of human civilization and expansion. Roads connect all of us, and they changed humanity from nomadic outposts to a massive interconnected grid where we all flow like electrical impulses on a circuit board.

The Troubardours: Johnny ‘Red Rabbit’ Artist of Old Objects

I find beauty in old and broken things, I don't like the throw-away culture. I think it's beneficial to learn the old ways of doings things and fix things that are broken before discarding them and adding them to the junk piles. I try to not let shit die and in the process I like that antique and vintage don't add anything to a carbon footprint so you can think of it as proactive recycling. I'm seeking it.

The Troubardours: Marisa Leigh, Boudoir Photographer.

It’s Tuesday morning. The candles are lit, downtempo is on and hair and make up is ready. My client walks through the door wearing no makeup and right away I’m in awe of her and her natural beauty. My makeup artist and I gush over her with excitement. She appears shy and nervous and we quickly put her at ease with our regular routine. With a glass of champagne in her hand we unpack the lingerie and feast our eyes as we get giddy with all our options.

Why is Troubardour coffee more expensive?

Why is Troubardour coffee more expensive?

The answer to that is in the question itself because asking why some coffees are more expensive than others implies that they shouldn't be and that is that line of thought that no longer is anchored to reality anymore. This question assumes that coffee beans are a commodity that should have even prices. That could have been true the past but the ship of great coffee has sailed and we are now in a world that is ready to invest a bit more in order to get a lot more. Would you rather have Kraft dinner or go the best Italian restaurant in town for Mama’s secret recipe hand-made pasta?

The Birth of Troubardour Coffee

The moment has come. Troubardour Coffee is now available and shipping. We have several hundred freshly roasted bags. Where will they go, who will drink them? What interesting stories will the coffee hear as people drink it all over the world? Some people will wake up to it, others read great books alongside it, some will bring a fresh cup to their lovers in bed, and others build new companies with it at its side. I know it's just coffee, but for me it is more than that. It is the physical realization of what happens when you let go.

New Blessings

I was on a boat in the middle of a pristine lake in New Hampshire with a good friend. The day was perfect, the wind was caressing my skin, the leaves were turning red, I had a glass of Nicaraguan rum on my right hand, a nice fat joint on my left. The sun was warm and it was essentially the most perfect day anyone could be in. We put this song on loop and it must made everything more ‘perfecter’. We both knew we were in a special moment, 20 minutes prior to this I had been riding my bike until I bumped into him and I got invited on his boat which was of course parked right there. Perfect serendipity. I was grateful.
